I have been thinking about upgrading my good old i5 2500K Oced to 4.6Ghz to the new AMD 2700x. Do you think that upgrade is really worth it?
Cheers
What do you do with your computer ? Most likely its a good upgrade, but that does depend on all you do.

I upgraded from an overclocked Xeon 5660 (4.2 Ghz) to a 2600X. It's a very noticable upgrade.

I use the web, watch movies and sometimes game with my 1070 on a 1440p monitor or the HTC Vive.

It is if you find yourself CPU or RAM speed constrained... Otherwise wait another six months for Zen 2.

Also got my first desktop Ryzen - 2600, together with MSI Mortar B450M, G.Skill Trident Z 3200/14 and Sapphire RX580 Pulse. Want to OC and fine tune it - but don't know where to start :) Should I OC in Ryzen master or in MSI bios? Sorry if asking in wrong thread.
