What are good numbers?

Just got mine, and its CCBWE 0551UPMW.

I got the same one and mine only does 2.4ghz at 1.35v

Those are really good, too.

I wish they were, but honestly they are not. All the 0551s i've seen were mediocre at best. I don't see 2.9+ Ghz out of them like i do on the 0550s. With an 0551 you are lucky to get 2.8, with an 0550 luck brings the big 3.

I went ahead and set my vcore at 1.4, just so I wouldnt have to mess around. Im at 9x280, for 2.52gig. Stable so far, ran it thru 3dmark06 a few times. About 7800 in it, which I find pretty funny because my 3700+@2.75 scored only about 6300. More Mhz, but much much lower score.

Sounds like you got a pretty good chip Ackmed. Throw some dual Prime at that thing overnight.

My CCBWE 0550 UPMW is at 2.7Ghz at 1.36v. It does hit 50c load with the default HS, so I'm going to short out that temp sensor on the chip or use one of those 92mm to 80mm fan adapters and put in my yate loon fan for quietness...

I'm saving up for a nice water cooling system and going for 2.8/2.9ghz... :)

The temperature sensor on the stock AMD HSF is pretty poor at regulating the speed. I think its much better to set the fan to full and let the BIOS regulate the speed of the cpu fan based apon the CPU temperature.
