It seems like AMD has lost some significant ground in laptop GPUs to nVidia the past year or two. I hope they can make it up a bit.
They should do better since they are releasing some new mobile GCN GPU's.

It is rumored they postponed it because they still have HD7000 inventory.
Not sure if you are serious or not.
That said, once again AMD appears to be delaying a product line due to inventory levels.
Isn't this fraud? I can understand them rebranding a card and naming it one tier lower, but taking one card and slapping the same number tier on it is openly deceptive. People expect the 8970 to be a different card at least, if not faster.
In my admittedly limited experience, wccftech.com has a pretty poor track record when it comes to the accuracy of their rumours about next-gen graphics cards! They rarely provide sources, and insert tables that, years later, are laughable.
