Disappointing so far. Gonna stop watching and read about it tommorow.

Just want to ask one thing since I've not watched it all yet.

Has it been confirmed when exactly new GPUs will hit actual shelves? (not paper launch)

How long is this talk supposed to be?

2014 according to Chris Roberts' blog.

No we wouldn't because I still haven't gotten an answer to my question. What does this do that a soundcard (there are many options) cannot when games are not using lossless audio.
How would we know?

Tressfx hair actually looks great imo in tomb raider.

I wouldn't mind some refinement of it. I liked it compared to static hair. Although if it could be translated to other objects like swaying grass it could become quite nice. It just needs refinement and dedicated people.

Grass should have been the main application from the beginning, IMO. There is far more grass in games compared to hair.

So one new GPU and rest is rebrand. And then some audio crap is all we got. :|

And in terms of TressFX, even the PS4 uses APEX instead.

Hey everyone! Pay attention! We have some info on audio now!

Wait, weren't we already talking about audio?

Don't people see that the the next couple of years are gonna be about immersion...
I mean, whats the thing thats 'revolutionizing' and making people cream in the gaming world. Don't think. It's the Oculus Rift. The fad now is immersion and perfect surround is VITAL... it's ABSOLUTELY VITAL for immersion.

Amd is not doing this for NO reason.

What? Nobody I know who is serious about gaming would touch a VR headset with a 10ft pole.

Most PC gamers are using their laptop speakers or 2.0 headphones/speakers. Most 'PC' speakers are trash. Real audiophiles already have good equipment. This is a non-starter IMHO.
