That stream is unwatchable. It pauses every second, and when not, the people there make incredible long pauses in speech, making you wonder whether it's another data problem or they are stoned.
I will wait for an article of some sort. I can't take this.

That better not be true...600 is too much if they are hoping to undercut the 780

EDIT: For clarification, I think they should be aiming to make it cost less AND BEAT the 780

I honestly don't/can't hear a difference, I'm one of those people who is more then happy with 2.0 headset I have a 5.1 Setup in my leaving room, and its all the same to me even in movie theaters, so at this point this is a pointless part of the presentation to me, audiophiles on the other hand might like this.....

Yeah I agree. At least it includes BF4 so it is really like $540.

It was until everyone switched to MOBO audio and stopped caring about good audio. Great audio on great speakers is great, gamers however don't care much for that so I'm not sure what AMD is hoping to gain here. They're just trying to find a new market I think.

Interesting. I've been guessing $600 all along, but it's not clear it's going to beat the 780, which is what it would need to do at that price.

BTW, I don't think the 300W TDP is accurate - that's just an assumption based on the connectors, but I'd guess it will come in at 250W.

I assume it's a baby step towards meeting their long term strategy of replacing everything with a single processing unit. APUs aren't advanced enough yet to replace discrete GPUs for gaming, so while that front is being developed they start integrating less ambitious things into the GPUs

We have an awesome 7.1 setup for watching movies and sports games. It sounds quite good. But I notice its not something we particularly want all the time. I think we all want better quality sound in our handheld devices.

04:43PM EDT - The 2-channel demo was pretty good, definitely had a very surround-sound feel but only using two (admittedly very large) speakers
