BF4 Edition R9 290X - well that was expected!!!

I think that $200 card is a souped-up 7870. My 7870 hits about 5400 in FS when overclocked. So $200 isn't that great a deal - the 7950 is a better deal right now.

The 280x is just a 7970 GHz Edition, so 6800 makes sense.

For those who missed it, an earlier slide showed the 290X hitting 8000, by the way.

Those Firestrike scores they're throwing up, is that just regular? Can't be extreme right?

Also, sign me up for that BF4 pre-order :p

I like that he said the R290X is the most powerful Card they have ever built..............Not in the world, just that they've built. Titan faster?

Giving you a chance to lube up while dubstep plays so they can ream you w/ a 700 dollar price tag out of nowhere.

LOL! Is the reaming to be done by a disarmingly calm Indian man who slowly refers to "getting to itm fast"?

So they still want to make you pay $300 minimum for 3GB of RAM.

That makes the 7950s on sale for $250 and less a much more appealing product so far.

So, Titan has 5,2 TFLOPs with Max Clock. How is AMD the first who crossed the 5 TFLOPs barrier?!
