AMD drivers update

Slightly confused but, aren't the latest AMD drivers a Catalyst 14.8 WHQL from a few weeks ago?

Those are drivers for APUs I believe.

Why are people obsessed with monthly driver releases? If you were paying attention to Catalyst changelogs from when they still did it, there was virtually nothing in them all the time. That's pointless.

But suure, whoever releases drivers the most frequently is logically the better manufacturer... really?

That's what I want to know. My drivers are at least a year old. If it aint broke...

I guess it's probably WHQL?

64 bit, don't get the beta, they are older.

Has anyone seen the release notes? I wonder what has changed. I guess there is a bf4 patch coming tomorrow, maybe some improvements there?

um Nvidia does not have a monthly driver by any means. heck it may be 6 months in between WHQL drivers sometimes.

Year to date, Nv has released 9 drivers, 6 whql + 3 beta.
