<< I am guessing that this version of the motherboard doesnot come with an agp slot since it says 2d/3d graphics included.
>>

It does have an AGP slot. It appears that you just need to disable onboard graphics.

The title says Soyo AS-A750 mobo, but people link to Soyo's K7ADA for specs. Outpost says AS-A750, but I can't fina any info on it. Anyone know what's up?

the AS-A750 is what the package is called. i believe the actual mobo is the k7ada

hope that helps

The AS-750 is the model number of the WHOLE kit, not the motherboard.

"Soyo AS-750 3-In-1 BareBone System:

The Soyo AS-750 3-In-1 Solution includes the case, motherboard and power supply."

It's just the combination of all the parts. Yeah, I checked out the website too thinking it model number was the motherboard, but if you scroll down near the bottom of the description, it clearly states what mobo you get, the SY-K7ADA.

From what I understand, this board does not support SDram right? how much will 512 ddr cost these days?

that's the only thing that bugs me...i may end up ebaying the mobo (despite the good reviews) and buying an ECS K7S5A...dunno...

hmm, looks like they finally changed their return policy. A month or so ago, they did not allow returns on motherboards for ANY reason...

AT effect?

I guess this thing does support SD Ram. I didn't know they used the same slots. Will frys have the same deal?

<< nice find........ Yesterday I bought a Asus A7V266 with xp1700 + with 256 meg DDR..... so day late........ >>

IN a week or month we are going to be saying. damn just bought the xp1.7k and the Asusk7ada then this deal comes.

<< How would one go about disabling the onboard video? >>

Most likely in the bios. I know for sure sound is disabled in the bios.

<< So this DOES support SDram???? >>

Yea, straight from the soyo site.

SYSTEM MEMORY

Three 184-pin DDR SDRAM 2.5V DIMM sockets support up to 3GB

Support PC1600/PC2100 DDR SDRAM

EXPANSION SLOTS

Only bad thing I know... If you get a DOA MOBO... Your screwed!

Outpost has a No Return policy, so I've heard. It's probably got one of the worst ones. Check into it before you buy.

IMO this is a good deal, but, I am going to wait this weekend for frys bundle deal. Looking for an 1800 or 1900

<< that means ddr ram, not pc133 sdram like you're thinking about >>

It appears only PC1600 DDR or PC2100 DDR. This still appears to be a hot deal to me.

Edit: Does NOT accept SDRAM.

can someone tell me how tough this will be to put together? does the motherboard come already mounted in the case with power supply hooked up? i'm pretty comfortable messing around inside my computers except for the cpu and motherboard swapping. also should i spend the $8 on the Artic Silver II Thermal Compound? i don't plan on overclocking.
