6800's (non XT's) currently going for $1,000+ on eBay and Amazon; XT's closer to $2k.
Damn that.
Damn that.
I'd guess those are just listings. Stockx shows bid/ask and most recent sale even without an account, 6800 XT actually selling for $950, base 6800 selling for $790.Are they being listed for that or actually getting bids up to that amount? I could just as easily list one (well assuming I had one that is) at $5,000, but I don't think you'd claim that's what the price is. The price of something is only what it is actually purchased for.
You and @AdamK47 are always blowing the rest of us plebs awayafter fighting for 3 hours in line and with store managers at microcenter..

I have officially scored the two titans.
The 3090 i got earlier... the 6900XT today.
I am so done with GPU shopping.
AMD was always going to be making the reference cards into 2021. Now, they will be making them "indefinitely".I doubt the Microcenter in Cambridge, MA even got any stock... if they did they probably got bought under the table. Damn MIT kids...
AMD is still reportedly making reference cards going into 2021 (they weren't going to originally) so there may still be some stock trickling in eventually.
I'm glad to see that AMD has increased the amount of time they'll be producing these cards to match the amount of time we're waiting for them. Now, they will be making them "indefinitely".
What are the nose levels like on that card? I’ve been annoyed by lack of reviews of some models out there.Got my Powercolor Fighter RX 6800 today. On the basis of one game tested - Baldur's Gate 3 - it has doubled my frame rate from my Vega 56. Paid too much for it, but Christmas is cancelled so I had some extra dosh free.
Quieter than any card I've had since they put fans on them. I'm not sure I'm really pushing its limits yet though. What are the nose levels like on that card? I’ve been annoyed by lack of reviews of some models out there.
hell no unless he puts a ring on that finger!RTX 3070 going in my daughters boyfriends build.
lolhell no unless he puts a ring on that finger!![]()
I actually cant think of any time that this has been true. The only card I can think of having major driver issues at launch was the 5700/5700 XT. And that was black screen issues in some specific configs (most involving multi-monitors and not games specifically)How is the driver quality in terms of stability and support for new and old games?
This has been a problem for AMD/Ati in the past. The drivers tended to work great for benchmarks and newer popular games. Older or not as popular games had issues that would rarely ever get fixed.
Agreed and i've been using mostly Radeons for many years.I actually cant think of any time that this has been true.
