Amazon streaming ever coming to PS3?

I don't want to buy something else like PlayOn. Not to mention when I had the trial version loaded browsing the library was HORRIBLE.

Any free options to get Amazon Prime streaming on my PS3?

Yeah, I just saw that it went live. And it looks like there is free streaming for everyone for a week. I need to check this out tonight.

I just read the front page of Amazon.com. Very niiice. I can now watch Netflix and Prime on my TV. Who the fuck needs cable.

last year the deals lasted until February or so. this year i'm still getting email alerts about discounted xbox live

PS3 is an awesome blu rayer but sony has a lot of work to do if they are going to beat MS in the next gen console race

Very nice, I've been wanting this forever for the few shows I buy not just for the Prime free video. Now I might never need to give Sony a new CC number for PSN points.

Thanks for the OT post Major Nelson. :whiste:

Yep! M$ is ridiculous. I can see M$ charging for Xbox Live online gaming but requiring an Xbox Live Gold just to be able to use free streaming services is a rip.

Thankfully there are so many BETTER alternatives than using the 360.

amazon finally made prime palatable by adding their streaming service. ~$90/yr was hard to justify when it only really gave you cheap fast shipping... but being able to have a video selection now really makes it hard to pass up.

netflix currently seems to be a lot better of course, but i dont see any way amazon will back down on this. im honestly surprised netflix has done as well as it has, with it being a small startup company and all. look for amazon to dominate tv and movie contracts i would imagine... netflix has got to be squirming for sure.
