Amazon Prime Question

If I buy 25 different things from 25 different vendors, do I get free shipping from all?
Or is it just on stuff that Amazon itself carries/ships?

No matter how you try to disguise your purchases by spreading them out across different vendors, your wife is going to KNOW you're restocking the basement.

Search again for the items you're buying. Many times there are multiple vendors and only some of them are Prime eligible.

I have it and use it often. I dislike going to many stores and using my time when I can find it more efficiently. The primary advantages for me would be the shipping charges and timely delivery when available. Of course this depends on how often you use it among other things.

I us them a lot. I dislike going into stores and rubbing shoulders with the mouth breathers.
 
Am I the only one that wishes Amazon had their wares better organized and/or easier to find? Compared to newegg for example, it seems it is more difficult on Amazon to browse a particular selection for a given category. I recently purchased a queen memory foam mattress, and there was something like 700+ items listed, many that were only remotely related.

Still a satisfied Amazon Prime member overall, it just seems like all of the goods from various sub vendors clogs up the categories sometimes. And yes, selecting the Prime Eligible option on the left is key when ordering.

Yeah, Amazon needs Newegg-like search specifically designed for each subcategory.

Its very awkward when you're looking for something like wrenches and the only parameter you have to filter by is color.

Yep. Again, it is not that one can't find what they are looking for, its just that it takes longer than it should IMO. This is especially true if you are browsing for an item in general. If you know exactly the model you want, a direct search does usually return it.

I generally filter through items on a different website (e.g. Newegg for computer parts) and then search for a specific product on Amazon.

I've done that too! Which speaks volumes to Amazon's organizational coding of their website. I would guess they have the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" attitude since they make money hand over fist as they say.
 
Over the past year I purchased more items and spent more dollars at Amazon than I have in any store.
They're just that good. Not to mention the returns.
I've been able to safely return an iPad 2 and Archos 5 and a Sog Power Assist.
 
I love Amazon's RMA process. Quick, Easy and they ship first so you get your replacement quicker. When I got my Zune HD for Christmas it would randomly shut off and stay off until the battery was fully drained. I haven't had any problems with the replacement though.

Sometimes Prime doesn't matter... Other day I bought similar item, that cost less for item + s&h than the item + prime eligible.
I wasn't too happy to see auto renew was selected by default after I did the trial of it.
