532 so far this year.
754 for 2014.
686 for 2013.
348 for 2012.
269 for 2011.

Full disclosure, most of those orders were for small electronic transations and not ordinary orders.

😀

If you're making 1 order a day, why not just put more items in an order and not order as much?

I just order stuff whenever it comes to mind. Most of the orders are for multiple items.

I do this as well. With Prime, it doesn't matter if you order 6 items at once, or one item 6 times.... free shipping regardless. :awe: Sometimes I forget I need something around the house after having just placed an order, so I'll order that item right away and have it 2 days later. This just happened for coffee this morning. Realized I was getting low and have been wanting to try a new blend, so I placed an order for a bag of beans this morning. I'll have it Thurs.

I just came across the Amazon original show 'Bosch' ... watched episode 1, season 1 at lunch and can say I might get into it!

I have 58 orders this year, including some big items like a pressure washer. I certainly get my money's worth just on the shipping. The music/movies/shows are a bonus.

I'd like them to show how much you've spent per year instead of amount of orders, then you guys should compare. I placed like 4 orders in the last couple days as things come up. Yup, i'm ordering every little thing here and there just because I don't need to make that $35 quota per order anymore. Which explains why you guys probably have a lot of orders - I just reached 45. Prime got me good. I'm with you suckers.

125 orders this year. loving every minute of amazon prime

I got a couple gifts cards over the holidays to Kohl's & Walmart, decided to blow them online. Both orders are over a week out with standard shipping. Both are using a Fedex handoff to USPS, which just adds to the delay and isn't always super accurate with delivery dates. Definitely a first world problem, but it's soooooooo annoying not to just have stuff show up a couple days after you order. Amazon is winning because of the free 2-day shipping (plus Prime movies & all the other crap they throw in for $99/year).

I just checked my order history and was surprised to find I had almost 170 orders for 2015 alone...everything from socks to computer parts to kitchen stuff. I do a lot of computer repair & upgrades and was also surprised to see that Amazon has pretty much replaced Newegg for ordering parts. And as far as kitchen stuff, sometimes I'm so lazy that I don't want to add something to my shopping list for the grocery store and will just order it on Amazon instead because hey, it will be here in two days! They are very smart about making it easy to shop, do returns, find what you need at reasonable prices, and ship it out to you quick. Unless I need something same-day, I usually just snag it on Amazon. It's really changed how I buy things & even what I do business with as far as computer parts.

All of this. Pretty much mirrors my usage of Amazon and how it has quite literally changed my shopping. I LOATHE shopping in a B&M store now.

Delivered yesterday:
18lbs of cat food
6 pack of undershirts
1 pair of dress pants
1 HDD

Not to mention with Prime you get free unlimited (and uncompressed) photo storage!!

This is what I do. Some small crap is still an 'add-on' item... but for the most part all of my little orders are $35> (with the exception of the holidays). Examples would be "shit, I'm out of paper towels!". Order them. "Shit, I'm out of toothpaste and mouthwash!" Order them. Etc. Sometimes I even get it the next day.

I've yet to dive into this realm.......... Maybe this weekend? :hmm:

193 orders last year for me and I just order whatever pops in my mind. I do take advantage of the 'no rush' option a lot.

I find myself watching TV shows much more than movies. They are a season behind but that's fine for free. It really shines if you have kids though. Currently the kids are watching through Pokemon Red & Black.

Netflix still seems to have a better streaming selection for kiddos than Amazon does, though.

But, hey.... if you don't have a Netflix account and you're using Prime for "free" shipping anyway...
