I was checking on my order and I noticed that several of my older orders were listed as being "handed directly to a resident".

WTF, Amazon???? lol NONE of these orders were handed directly to me. They were all either left in my mailbox or at my front door.
I've noted that "hand off" weirdness before, but Amazon magically straightened itself out ... and now correctly states it was left at mailbox, or porch, as the case may be. Can't tell you why it effs up.

Heard somewhere (TV news?) that Whole Foods prices have dropped significantly since Amazon bought them, but I haven't bothered to check it out. I hit them once or twice a year for a couple 5lb bags of organic whole wheat flour and make it to the checkout line, after seeing my dentist (across the street).

It's very selective on which items are reasonably priced. I do think they are adding to the list, but the price changes aren't store wide. I think "shaved grapefruit water" is still going to cost you about $10 if you're interested in buying a mason jar with a grapefruit submerged in water.

Significantly for "select items" but I would not say its much of a price drop. We shop there frequently it is cheaper than years ago but like $10 max.

For the most part, you need at least 4 gigs of RAM & an SSD to run Windows 10 decently. I've got some older machines with like a 1.4ghz CPU, 8 gigs of RAM, and small SSD's & they do pretty decently as a basic office & surfing machine. Not great, but not awful!
My problem with these Lenovo laptops (64bit running 8GB RAM, the 32bit running 4GB, although I'm not sure the chipset really supports more than 3GB) is that I use the trackpad. Well, actually not much on the 32bit machine, but on the 64bit Win10 machine, exclusively nowadays. I get tiling of all open windows sporadically, unpredictably and very frequently, and it drives me nuts. Haven't found a workaround. Anyway, everybody at the thinkpad forums say to run Win7 on T60 and T61 machines, anyone who knows anything.

Got this for $999.

https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Predato..._m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=3W2B5VRSNKW1XGDCACJ4

Won't be spending money like that again this year.
Good luck, may be great, but my venture into Acer laptops ended badly. Didn't get much out of the machine before it went haywire out of warranty. I figured, never again. It was a serious cheapie, probably yours is anything but. I've stuck with Lenovo super high class T60's and a T61 ever since. They are very long in the tooth but still usable, although the T60 is limited to 4GB RAM and the T61 8GB RAM. I have to bail just about once a week with the system I use a lot (this one, the 8GB) because it starts paging and I could tear my hair out.

Haven't lost a Lenovo laptop yet. Built like tanks. Lots of support if you want it in forums by devotees, even for old machines. Can't vouch for more recent Lenovo machines, though. I see there's cheaper stuff from them these days, I wouldn't trust it without doing my homework.

Linus Tech Tips gave it high marks. That was when it was 1700.

I see the Ring Doorbell2 w/ Echo Dot is $139. Seems like a decent price for the package. I bought the same thing for my father in law back in December for $180

I bought an Echo Show that came with a free Echo Dot and a Hue light bulb. It all arrived this morning so what do I do? I fired it up and asked Alexa what my deals are. It showed on the screen a special deal where I could get a Ring doorbell 2 I've been eyeing for half price (it was more on the website) so I couldn't resist telling Alexa to buy it. Well played Amazon. That's enough damage this time.

Ask Alexa for deals, it's $99 for the Ring Doorbell 2 there, even cheaper than the Prime website deal without the Dot.

I don't have an Echo Show or an Echo Dot so I can't ask Alexa. For the members here that do thanks for the heads up on the deal.
