I'd do a little dance if Amazon added Chromecast support for it... but I don't see that happening.
My wife is all set for now, she's got my One+ and the screen is great for video playback. I'm on my Moto X again and I need Chromecast support to make it truly valuable to me. So I give Amazon 3 stars for now.

Amazon just redid their terms and conditions to crack down on fake EDU email addresses for student accounts and to not implement a better policy. Anyone who signs up now recieves a free membership AND a referral credit ($10) in the hopes that more and more people will follow referral links and also provide them.
I followed this link:
I immediately recieved my free account and about a week later recieved an email with a code for my credit.
Please note: Must provide VALID edu email address

No referral links.

Can someone report back their battery usage with what I assume is a new Amazon app? The original Amazon app sucks the juice out of my wife's S III so much she had to uninstall it.

So is it safe to say that Amazon gave the big ole middle finger to their Prime customers that use tablets instead of phones to watch streaming video.

It sure seems that ways....

It's not just tablet owners, there's a list of Android phones that it won't work on, too. This plug-in is crap. Of the 4 Android devices in my home, only 2 can use it and that's just because 1 of them is a Kindle Fire.

So Amazon added the ability to download shows and movies to your device so you can watch offline. Great move, I hope it becomes a standard feature of streaming services.
