I've been an AMAZON Prime Member for 3 years and have spent well over $10k in purchases. I logged in my AMAZON account today to write a review on my Gigabyte Windforce GTX 670 and Turtle Beach z6A Headset and I noticed ALL my reviews were deleted for all my purchases! o_O

The sad thing is 99% of my reviews are all verified purchases and I've spent a lot of time and thought on them! I was trying to get on their Vine Program!! :'(

I'm thinking I got caught up in AMAZON's algorithm review sweep... I admit, most of my reviews are quite wordy because I was being real and complete... but still, I didn't get an e-mail, or warning or anything from them...D:

Did anyone on ATOT got their AMAZON reviews deleted?

Maybe you were trying a little too hard and raised some red flags. Or your writing was wordy but marked as unhelpful by too many people.

Did you copy any of your review text from other sites?

I've never had reviews deleted but I've only posted a half-dozen of them.

That would annoy me.

You didn't mention if you contacted them. If so, what did they say?

I haven't contacted them yet... Just found out today a few minutes ago (they were all there yesterday)... Most of my reviews were marked helpful - they weren't bias or anything... All were my own original writing...

Maybe it's just a temporary glitch and it'll reappear later.

what is this vine program?

That's where they send you free stuff to keep as long as you write reviews for it. They seem to be pretty generous too, it's not like a cell phone case or a book. People get some damn expensive items. They also send shit that hasn't officially been released yet.

Yep... I've seen "Vine Reviewers" get HDTVs, Games, Headsets, Media Players, electronics, health and beauty...etc... and alot of them are $100+ ... you just have to write well written reviews and get alot of good "helpful" feedback from them... You get to keep that stuff too!

At least you had your reviews backed up so you could repost them. Correct?

Over a 3 year span - I've probably built 3 PCs and clean instealled 5 to 6 times... so sadly they're gone...:'(

I don't see why you'd care. write new ones? It's not like you'll ever stop buying things from amazon.

Pretty soon, hopefully, we can all do groceries with amazon.

Did you give any negative reviews to Bose products? They are notorious of harassing, suing, and sending cease and desist letters for criticism.

I have hundreds of reviews on amazon and would also be upset if they all disappeared. For some products I have the only review, or at least the only review worth jack squat, with a decent overall average of "helpful".

That does suck... 90% of my Amazon visits are for reviews (in Canada so selection is limited and price is meh).

i checked on amazon.ca and actually can't believe what a piece of sh*t it is. A ton of third-party suppliers, it looks like amazon hardly has any of its own stuff in stock, and terrible prices as well.

I've written some negative reviews for big brands... but that is after 3 or more months of using the product and giving their customer service a chance to redeem themselves...

Don't ignore my question.. I'm seriously interested the thought process behind typing AMAZON in all caps. I wonder what the synapses in your brain were doing to come to that decision, to type it as AMAZON.

It Must Be Related To Why People Sometimes Type Like This. It Absolutely Baffles Me.

I can't be the only one!

Did you not read the full OP or the thread? He says very clearly why he cares (trying to get in Vine program)
