Don't ignore my question.. I'm seriously interested the thought process behind typing AMAZON in all caps. I wonder what the synapses in your brain were doing to come to that decision, to type it as AMAZON.

It Must Be Related To Why People Sometimes Type Like This. It Absolutely Baffles Me.

I can't be the only one!

really none of them should be capitalized if you want to match amazon's logo

Its odd, the people that capitalize every first letter, i have seen a lot of people that do that.

It think of Amazon as AMAZON also for some reason, not sure why what side of the brian is doing what work for that.

I buy a ton of stuff from Amazon but never leave reviews.

You're not the only one. I also thought it was peculiar. I suspect it's a kind of hyper-correction.

Someone sees other names that are stylized that way (or other names that are initialisms) and the person just starts to believe that all-caps is always an acceptable way to write a proper noun / name.

It's most likely part of the word filter. For example, some forums decap all caps post except the first letters. Keeps down on the annoying posts.

I don't think anybody actually goes out of their way to cap the first letter of each word

I know 2 people i deal with daily at work that do it, i have asked them more then once why they do it, they just say they do. Along with another guy that always types in all CAPS and refuses to type any other way.

Actually, I've encountered numerous confirmations that some people *do* manually capitalize the first letter of each word. They erroneously believe it's more professional / proper.

In this age of technology with things changing daily, who cares about a 3 year old review on a video card or power supply. Most likely the part you reviewed is now old and not even for sale any longer. Like most review boards, they tend to clean up the waste by time limit. How does an old review of a product that no longer exists or is in NOS (New Old Stock) help the majority? It doesn't. I wish more review boards cleaned up their reviews.

Also, why do you care? Feel grateful that your review was up on Amazon for a few years. Time to 'move on'. Can't be a celebrity forever. Write a new review on something more current, or perhaps don't be so critical or wordy.

The American education system.

Hopefully OP just encountered a temporary glitch and there's nothing more sinister going on. The latter doesn't sound likely given that it sounds like OP has reviewed a variety of products, and not just (for example) given negative marks to Monster cables or something like that.

i checked on amazon.ca and actually can't believe what a piece of sh*t it is. A ton of third-party suppliers, it looks like amazon hardly has any of its own stuff in stock, and terrible prices as well.

Yep. The books, CDs, games, and some electronics are Amazon's. Up until a year or two ago, they only had books, CDs/DVDs, and games. Looks like they "expanded" their selection by using a bunch of third-party suppliers with atrocious prices and huge shipping costs - no thank you.
