I got a cancellation notice from Amazon.com and I e-mailed csr to check and see if the promotional price and gift code had actually been in the order even though I didn't see it initially. The csr told me to order at regular price and then contact them at a feedback e-mail link they provided and they were supposed to change price to $99.98.
I am guessing that others who got a valid order in during their gold box offer, but cancelled like me because they didn't see promo in order might also be able to get price adjustment.
Just placed order, so will have to see if they adjust price, or I will just cancel it.
Amazon Customer Service is usually really good, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.
