I don't order from Amazon a whole lot, but I have been doing it more and more recently. I purchased some audio CDs, but was disappointed with the packaging. It was, more or less, a piece of cardboard that was folded to give some rigidity to the structure and had a single 'air bag' inside. The box was not 100% sealed as there was ample space to peek inside.
Upon opening the package, one of the CD cases was cracked several times due to the poor packing. It wouldn't be such a big deal, but it was a 'deluxe' disc set so it has those folding arms with the additional disc inside making it a bit more difficult than average to replace.
I'm not totally pissed or anything - all of the actual discs are just fine without any scuffs, but I'm wondering if this is how Amazon ships all CD orders or just the ones with their free shipping service.
