On Wednesday, October 29, 2008, PlayStation 3 items will be featured in the Amazon.com Gold Box. The identities of each deal will be revealed one at a time.

Here's how it will work:

At 12:01 AM PST the first deal will be the Gold Box Deal of the Day. Its special discounted price will be available all day only on Wednesday, October 29 (or until we run out.)

Starting at 6:00 AM PST, the second deal will be featured as a Lightning Deal.

Each of the remaining deals will also be Lightning Deals that follow at 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 6:00 PM PST.

Discounts on each deal will be available only while supplies last.

Heh...that's funny. I originally posted this in the Console Gaming forum because it's not really a "Hot Deal" until it's verified. I guess one of the mods moved it.

Yes 3AM, so what? PST has to deal with 6AM deals for forever. At least now it's 12AM for us.

It'd have to be (very) heavily discounted to beat the Sony.com deal..
 
Last time they had this for PS3, the Gold Box was useless so I saved money by not being able to buy any of the discounted games. 😛

Also, I think the $150 off deal if you get the Sony Credit Card is still going on. I used the $100 off Sony Card deal a few weeks ago.
 
Deal of the day for the PS3 Gold Box Event is the Playstation 3 Eye @ $23, a $10 discount from normal amazon.com price. I'm going to sleep now.

Hit it up the fairway.
- Hot Shots Golf Out of Bounce
 
PlayStation 3 Eye is sold out. Bummer, I was gonna pick that up and hopefully HotShots Golf if my prediction is correct.
 
But it can't be claimed, the claim bar's only at 15%. I just called Amazon and they told me they're having system problem, asked me to call back in 30 min. UGH!
