Am i too big for a 600cc bike ?

not lately. But i had a yamaha 600cc single cyl for a year or more. Im a good rider. Dont worry im not intrested in being roadkill 😉

the 600 i owned was much smaller than this one.

If it feels fine, get it.

At that price, you can sell it for what you bought it for if it turns out to be too cramped.

First, have it checked out by the local Honda shop before you buy it.

asking for motorcycle advice on a computer nerd's board = not the best source of info.

www.redlinesuperbike.com is my club's site. Feel free to check the board, or ask a question there. If i wasn't on my way to work, i'd load you with info.

Why? Alot of us own or owned bikes so your comment makes no sense. When I was 6'4 330 I had a 600 and I was too big. You really need a 750 or bigger. That 600 with your fat ass on it is not going to be as fast as it should be and a pic with you on the bike would help. I will give you my honest opition if it looks like two wheels and a handlebar coming out of your ass when on it or if it looks ok. Nothing worse then riding a bike made for a midget with our fat butts on them looking reall silly.

Edit. sorry just woke up and didnt take my pills😛
saw the pic and you actually look good on the bike, i would say go for it even though it may be slightly under powered. but you do look good on it.

4 years old and one oil change? Is that a good idea?

it has been off the road for 3 of them. Not being ridden.

Oil goes bad just sitting in the crank over the years. It will collect moisture and start to rust the berrings and other mechanical stuff 🙂

First thing right away would be do a oil change.

it needs an oil change.. further more the SRX600 is a completely differnet machine to teh F4I.. the F4i has over 100Hp, its big enough to take you around. Forget about how you fit on it, you are above the size for supersports anyway, they are designed to be comfy for ppl under 5'11.

Anyway you should be fine with an F4i, but be very careful its a totally different ballgame with the F4i.

You did - because you got mad that some kid said you were 'pwned'.

You look fine on the bike. People who's short and small need to worry more than big people. Short person might not be able to touch the ground except tip toe while on the bike.

Get it, ride it, be done.

Be careful who you take advice from on the internet. Go find someone who rides that you respect and ask them.

From the sane, experienced, mature rider's view the bike has more that enough power to send you flying. The noob, macho rider who goes out at buys a brand new r6 the day they get their licence will tell you your too big and look like a p*ssy riding that bike. My Dad works at the hospitcal and he sees these nobbie riders on a regular basis and everyone on the staff calls them organ donors.

I just want to add that I, myself, have been riding just shy of two years on a gs500 and its still fun to ride and holds more than enough power for me
