4 years old and one oil change? Is that a good idea?

it has been off the road for 3 of them. Not being ridden.

Oil goes bad just sitting in the crank over the years. It will collect moisture and start to rust the berrings and other mechanical stuff 🙂

First thing right away would be do a oil change.

yes as a mechanic i realize this 🙂 thanks for the advice though.

haha pwned

How was I pwned? I am a ex mechanic and I didnt know he was one and I was just giving him some information. If he wasnt a mechanic the information I gave him would of been usefull and others here that read it may not of known and learned something.

So who really got pwned now?
You did - because you got mad that some kid said you were 'pwned'.

pwned

When did I get mad? I was just explaining like I am now about my point.

Who got pwned now again?

To be pwned you need to have a reason for it and a person explaining themseves in a calm non shouting or nasty way doesnt mean they are mad. It far from being mad 😛

Just walk away and let it go.

consider the 1000cc bikes today are the same size bike as 600's a few years ago, I think you should be fine on the CBR. You may get cramps after about 1-2 hours on it, but still you should have a blast on it. Good luck and happy riding.

thanks guys. You are right about the power of this thing. Its SICK! I got it up to 135 in a matter of what felt like a few seconds.

I was amazed ! this is like 10X faster than my older single cyl srx600 thumper 😀
