Am I the only person who is single and happy about it?

i love being single!
i learned so much from the one long term relationship i did have (3 years)...especially the breakup.

but this past year of being single i have experienced so much and grown so much as an independent person. i love just going out with different people and spending time with my friends and doing different things and not always having to think about someone else's schedule.

thats not to say that if the right person came along i wouldnt get into a relationship but theres no point in trying to make something work just for the sake of having to be with someone.

I'm much happier now than when I was in a relationship. I get to do whatever I want whenever I want, and spend as much money as I want without someone telling me what I can and cannot spend. I do get lonely sometimes, however.

For me, being single is a combination of two emotions: loneliness and euphoria. Loneliness right before I go to bed at night, and euphoria pretty much the rest of the time.
