Sounds like common sense to me... Unless I am so bored with life that I absolutely need to have a kid to cheer me up, I dont see it happening... Too much trouble, too much money spent, and youre stuck with them for life
The second question would be, have you ever been in a serious relationship that the topic would even be brought up?

I'm married and the wife wants kids and I don't. That could be a whole other thread by itself though.
Apparently I've been out-ed as the virgin, no life loser, that needs to get off teh internets and sees the real world.😱

You didn't talk about this before the marriage?
Yeah we did but I guess we both assumed the other would eventually give. When you love someone it's alot harder to just walk away from someone because of something like that.

ouch, guess who's going to win that one?
When I was younger I wanted them and thought I would be a decent Father, but I no longer feel that way, so will not be having them.

I can barely take care of fish... no kids for me!
you can actually condition kids to stop crying within a month of being born. If you hear them screaming in the night, don't get up, no matter how bad it gets. Within 2 weeks the infant will stop crying at night.
the great irony is that you would probably make a much better father than the men who assumed they would be.
Was the "Please delete" thread still going 6 months ago 😉6 months ago my son was born and these have been arguably the best 6 months of my life.
That is true.
People without kids are usually more financially ready that they realize too, and in many cases more prepared for kids than a lot of people with kids.
I'm in the "no kids" camp, though we could easily afford and probably raise kids in a loving home.
Frankly, the 18 year plus ongoing responsibility scares me.
Are non-kid people too materialistic?
