I bid on some tickets to Dallas in 2 weeks. I got the insurance for them for $15. I think the times they picked are horrible so I called them and said I want to cancel.

They want documentation of why I am canceling my trip. It will take them 30 days to decide on if they wish to refund me back the money or not based on my documentations.

What a load of crap.

Now I did pay with American Express.
Think they can help me?
 
I guess you read past the "I agree that all transactions are final in exchange for the low rate" disclaimers?
 
Yeah I'm pretty sure the insurance is in case you have to cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances, not because you didn't like the tickets they gave you.

the insurance doesn't work that way. you'll have to have a doctor's note, or somehting like that

you are screwed. never book on priceline unless you are 100% sure
