I guess so, but you can go to texture settings and select texture quality and change some options there.Originally posted by: AmberClad
Yeah, I really don't understand what they're talking about. Like I said, I only have the demo, but this is the graphics menu I see. Maybe they're referring to the fact that "Model Detail" and "Water Detail" only have Low and Normal settings?

PCs are superior by far for graphics detail, they wouldn't do that... It sounds like a bug, or possibly they're just looking at the wrong menu.Originally posted by: BladeVenom
Probably because it was made to run on consoles and they didn't put in higher textures for the PC version.
I don't think so...I'm running it on Vista x64, so I don't think DX10 has anything to do with it.Originally posted by: pontifex
the high settings may be for DX10 users?
you're running on dx10 though so would you really know the difference?Originally posted by: AmberClad

Im using an ATI card and I have many settings. Only 3 or 4 which are normal and low. I also see AA settings and in Textures there is a multitude of options.Originally posted by: MarcVenice
It's kind of weird, but I have heard of this issue before. Lets all state our videocards, and the options we see ? I'm running a 8800gts 320mb, in Vista 64x, 1680*1050, and I can't see high either. Just low/normal.
