hi

so I am really concerned with my new girlfriend. Am I going nuts or what? Yesterday when I cooked chicken for her she said she is not eating the SKIN!!! Then went on telling me it is full of dangerous chamical elements and more sience talk of which I didn't get much.

However, I wonder does anyone of you know anything like this or is she making that up for no reason?

PS: Yes, I can cook so the problem is not in my cooking!!
 
I don't eat the skin of chicken either, although it is usually the best tasting part its the fattiest. I've never heard of what your GF is saying though.

umm some of us dont have super-highspeed metabolisms so we kinda stay away from the fatty parts to stay in shape.
 
I see... So it is normal!!!

I was simply amazed cuz she is the first person I have met that detest eating that part!!!

this reminds me of that episode of south park when cartman ate all the skin off the fried chicken and left the meat for the other kids, kenny cried
 
I ate the fried skin of 3 KFC chickens yesterday and I'm still here.

Oh yeah, I've been doing it for 20+ years too.
