OK, so I bought this thing recently for PC because it was fairly cheap, got fairly good reviews, and I wanted to test out my newly upgraded rig. Upon playing it for a few hours and realizing what the game had me doing, I gotta say it is the most horrendous piece of crap game to come out in recent time. Wait maybe that's to strong... no, no it really isn't.
The graphics are fine, you can't say they're great anymore after seeing Crysis, so they're fine. But the game itself is just so goddamn boring! I think this blog is very in line with my opinion:

I can't even believe this game has been hailed as a "GTA in the desert." Yeah, total immersion when the game world is practically empty, and when there is someone, it's some random white dude in the middle of Africa roaming the night in a Pinto intent on killing the PC and only the PC. Seriously, when you set a game in Africa, maybe, you know, actually have some native people? Instead of having 75% of the NPCs in the game be Hispanic mercenaries?
At one point the Indian "buddy" in the game told me "you just keeping seeing the same people over and over again" or something along those lines. Yeah, that definitely summarizes this entire game for me.
This is coming from a guy who thoroughly enjoys mainstream, hyped up, mindless shooters. I thoroughly enjoyed all the Halos, both Gears, and Fallout 3 was a great game. Sorry for the rant, but I just can't believe people actually can enjoy this game. How many people did Ubisoft have to bribe? C'mon, PC Gamer 94%? Are you kidding me?
