I never get the smell of gas on my hands afterward. What're you doing with the pump ?!

And I agree with your gf... though I'd probably do the same if I did get gas on my hands... however that would happen...

Just think about it. You have hundreds of people a day going to the pump, unscrewing the cap on their car, pumping gas, doing who knows what while they're pumping, then putting the nozzle back.

Meh 😉

So that's what that stuff is for.

I thought it was for squirting onto your woman and rubbing onto her ...

Oh boy I got some explaining to do 😱

I only have to pump gas when I leave the NY/NJ area, and I hate it for that very reason. Those of you who think it doesn't get on their hands need new noses.

You're crazy, but I suffer from the same affliction. It forces me to do odd things like push elevator buttons with my knuckles, open bathroom doors with my elbows and to wash my hands before and after I go to the bathroom.

And then I'll do stuff like eat cheese off the floor...so I'm really not sure whats wrong with me. I think I just find other people dirty.

Are you incapable of getting gas without spilling it on your hands?

I never spill gas on my hands, but there is always a lingering amount on the pumps that always travels to your hands.

You need to stop fingering the fuel nozzle before you put it back on the pump you sick bastage! 😀

I hear that. Half those dirty fvcks probably don't wash their hands after going to the bathroom also. I might have to start carrying some hand sanitizer in my car now. Thanks for giving me yet another phobia!!!

Leaning towards homosexual? Nah..

Leaning towards becoming Jack Nicholson in 'As Good As It Gets'? Yup. You're one step closer. 😉

Same thing I was thinking.🙂

Maybe a little obsessive compulsive, sort of depends on what you do when you run out of hand sanitizer.

& be glad you don't own a diesel😀

OK, I keep hand sanitizer in my car (you know the stuff in the pump bottle that you pump out and rub your hands til dry) for when I go to the gas station and get back in the car. I can't stand the smell of the gasoline on my hands.

Anyway, I was with my GF the other day and after I finished pumping the gas, I got in the car and pumped out a little and started rubbing my hands together. Here response..."Oh isn't that cute"...which roughly translates into "You're a fuggin' loser" 😛

[Seinfeld] "Not that there's anything wrong with that" [/Seinfeld]

No more crazy then scanning 500 magazines 😀

Cheers,
Aquaman

"hand sanitizer" takes away the smell of gasoline?

Good to know... good to know. Next time I use gasoline to wash oil based paint off my hands, I can follow up with hand sanitizer.

Then wash your hands with garlic to get rid of the hand sanitizer smell and then lemon juice to get rid of the garlic smell...

Doesn't frequent anitbacterial useage make you less resistant to bacteria?

Yes. Not only does it kill the benign flora on your hands (which are your first level of defense against pathogens, both by outcompeting them and by constantly stimulating your immune system), it contributes to antibiotic resistance (since obviously it doesn't kill all the bacteria once it gets diluted in the sink). Frankly, the only time anyone should use antibacterial products is if you are dealing with a medical problem like an open cut. Other than that, antibacterial products are actually LESS healthy than non-antibacterial.

That's what I recall reading, so all the paranoid germ-phobes are actually making themselves more prone to the germs they are trying to protect themselves from...

you're obsessive compulsive.

Either that or he doesn't want the $hit that gets on his hands from using public things like a gas pump or a public telephone. There is a difference between cleaning your hands compulsively and being clean. If he uses it every time he touches something than he has a problem and can look forward to some paxil.

I have hand sanitizer.
