Wow so just because the guy had a friend with a DUI he robs houses?? That's the biggest WTF I have ever read. Yes you are being raciest. From your posts here you would be the kind of person I would not want to be friends with.
Guys, I don't think it's been mentioned, but what race was he?
How did that conversation go?
He: "The weather's pretty nice today."
You: "We have security cameras here".
Seriously, though. Plenty of people get DWIs.. EVEN WHITE PEOPLE!! He only asked about cops because YOU WERE SPEEDING. Re-read what you wrote, man and be honest with yourself. Plenty people are racist. Don't be embarassed ON THE INTERNET about it..
lol, yeah I did make it awkward. I really don't think I'm racist though but how broad some people use that word, I probably am. I'm not white though, it seems some people are assuming that but I'm not.

.
Edit:
When I think about it, the other poster was right when he first said that it was a culture clash. I wouldn't have had a problem had he talked to someone in a business suit.
Your pussy attitude already made me think you weren't white. Most white racists aren't huge pussies that start talking about security cameras. So what are you?

As you can tell from my previous topics and post, I'm not one to start troll threads. This really did happen today and this is exactly how I felt. I was uneasy driving him to my home after he made buddy buddy with his friend in the orange jumpsuit.
I told my group of friends this and how I felt, they never once thought that I was racist. Maybe I am? I don't think so at least. Did a quick google of the definition of racism and I don't see how my situation applies. I guess over the years the word racists has changed to a much broader term, at least for the black community and those people with a black guilt complex.
These are not mutually exclusive.Maybe I worded it wrong but I just wanted to know if I would offend the guy to the point that he would think i'm racist or just an ass.

It's not that he was black. Why is everyone so focused on color? What made me feel uncomfortable was not the color of his skin, but that he was making conversation with a criminal.
No. Somewhere within the first 5 posts someone would have asked what color the guy was. You should know that.Everyone is focused on colour in this thread because you made a specific point of mentioning it, if you hadn't, we wouldn't.
Why are you so angry? I'm not going to say my race because it'll make my race look bad since so many people seem to be worked up about how I felt today. I'll just say that I'm not any of the white races which include German, French, Spanish, European, or American born white. The media seems to believe that Spanish and white are the same thing(George Zimmerman), that's why I made sure to include that in there.
For full safety and confidence booby trap your lawn, windows, and sidewalk.
Don't listen to them OP, sounds like a good plan to me. Wear a pointy white had when you go back.
You drove in a car with a black guy who knows another black guy, and as a result now you have to get an alarm system for your house.I needed to drop my car off at the mechanic but I had no one to take me home, so the owner of the shop had one of his employees ride with me home to take my car back to the shop. While we were riding home, he opened my window to wave at one of his friends in an orange jumpsuit. They had a conversation about why he was cleaning up the city, basically he had a DWI. After that, he asked me about cops in my neighborhood because I was speeding. Basically he made me feel uncomfortable.
So I was thinking that when I pick up my car, I was going to tell him that we got an alarm system because of how he made me feel uneasy with the reasons above. Am I being racist, an asshole, and is it okay for me to tell him this?
It's cold outside. Better wrap a white sheet around you for extra protection against the cold!
