I think you should have explained yourself a bit more before you hit the post button. Running into a 16 year-old and accidentally getting involved is one thing. I shell out about 1,000 dollars for college every 3 months. I shell out 200 dollars every month for car and cell phone. I really don't make enough money to have anything leftover.

$4000 a year for college and a couple grand for car and phone? You can't afford to spend more than $6000 a year? If you're that broke you should get financial aid and grants which will cover your tuition.

I hate to break it to you but at $8/hr you would have another couple grand left over even if you only worked 20 hours a week.

I still buy my own food. Did you factor in gas? How about car repairs and maintenance? What about clothes? You'r eright I do save some money (maybe about 1,000 a year)...but that takes awhile to add up and I'm saving it for future college expenses.
