This is just too funny it might be a nice change of pace to see someone like this as a senator.

It is clear, too, in the course of the two hours I spend with Greene that he has some pretty wacky ideas that, were he to win in November, would put him among the more unpredictable members of the senate. At one point, he lurches off on his big idea for how to create jobs in South Carolina.

"Another thing we can do for jobs is make toys of me, especially for the holidays. Little dolls. Me. Like maybe little action dolls. Me in an army uniform, air force uniform, and me in my suit. They can make toys of me and my vehicle, especially for the holidays and Christmas for the kids. That's something that would create jobs. So you see I think out of the box like that. It's not something a typical person would bring up. That's something that could happen, that makes sense. It's not a joke."

Already sounds like he'd create more jobs than the current batch of Senators currently are

Never go full retard. It's one thing for a Colbert to make a fake run for the LOLs and say stupid shit. Quite another for someone being serious and saying stupid shit. If you want Good Politicians, you Vote for good Politicians.

This guy doesn't sound self serving at all or like he might have any anterior motives......

I hope he's on a televised debate. I'll be sure to watch.

Edit: Will start googling for Alvin Greene dolls, am curious to see how long before some site starts selling them.

That's a pretty good reflection on the democratic party: about 60% of them voted for this guy. Then again, Pelosi could probably pick up some pointers on economic issues from him.

Man somone should make every senator into an action figure, then youd have to collect the whole set! Maybe you can even buy a big model of the senate floor and play politics. I know I would, its way better then playing on the interwebs.

Alvin Greene may be an embarrassment to the South Carolina Democrats, but at least they didn't nominate a real Bozo like Rand Paul...
