David Foster Wallace, author of the critically acclaimed 1996 novel Infinite Jest, was found dead in his Claremont, Calif., home on Friday after reportedly committing suicide. He was 46

If you were planning on picking up the book at some point, why not now?

Just Amazon cashing in on the author offing himself. Very over-rated book that briefly became a hot topic among pseudo-intellectuals that only claimed to have read it.

if anyone wants a good 1000+ page read, I loved the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant by Stephen R. Donaldson. I wish I had time to pick up the third part.

I wish they'd make a movie of this. They have had it on the block, but it kept getting shot down due to budget concerns.

I believe that there is no way that you could read that book in three days with any good comprehension of it.
