I have enough money, and I've been ready to make my next upgrade, and I'm going to go with the AMD X2 4400+. I do, however, have a 6800GT AGP that I wont be parting with.
My Question is, which nforce3 motherboard (or VIA?) overclocks decently, is stable but will also fit my Zalman 7700alcu heatsink (that rules out the neo-2 platinum...I've also had two MSI boards previously and both went bad on me, so no MSI). The only other requirements is that it needs to run my 4x512MB sticks at DDR400 and have a firewire port.
So far I'm looking at:
Gigabyte Ultra-939
Also keep in mind I won't be doing heavy overclocking, and I know that having 4 dimms will limit me anyways...just want to push a little extra
Thanks!
