I loved Sleeping Dogs. It became a little long in the tooth near the end, but possibly because I did a lot of side quests.

batman origins is $10! loved the first 2, is the third good @ that price?

Depends how into the Batman games you are. Multiple complaints that AO is just AC reskinned, doen't bring anything new to the table, and Conroy isn't Batman's voice. That being said, if your really into the play style for $10 its hard to go wrong.

Did they ever add a way to turn off DLC in Sleeping Dogs? Picked up the second story DLC in a bundle, but it came with a bunch of others, some of which were basically cheats, and there was no way to turn it off.

Doesnt look like it. I got the whole package with all DLC. Never played the core game so I couldnt even tell you whats different. There are two additional campaigns and you have to pick one when starting a new game. I dont know if they use old characters you have to create new ones.

Final Fantasy 7 marked WAY DOWN today.

I recommend everyone pick it up. If nothing else it may encourage square to start releasing the older titles on Windows. And as cheap as it is, you can buy today and sit on it for years before playing. You may wish you had, later on.

How is it on PC? Controls and everything are good with KB/M?

This version isn't any different than the old old version right? It was utter crap. Just better to play the emulated souped up PSX version unless they fixed all the issues.

FF7 is US$4. Don't know if 8 is the same price or if you care about 8.

@ImpulsE69: I believe it's possible to mod the FF7 PC version into something equal to the PSX version. Or even better. I modded FF8 with a CRT shader, higher quality FMV's (mostly in regards to audio), and PSX quality audio with the additions of orchestral pieces where available. I don't see why the same wouldn't be available for 7.

If I've only played Final Fantasy X (and enjoyed it) will I enjoy FF7, or will it feel pretty dated by comparison (not just graphically, but gameplay-wise)?

That's hard to say. It is definitely dated graphics wise as it was the first "3d" one at the early stages of that transition in gameplay. FF7 is touted by many to be the best in the series (granted I disagree) but is probably better overall in story than FFX.

Yea 10 and 7 are pretty different beast, just like 6 and 7 are very different. If you have no idea what ff7 is like, there are countless you tube videos.

Last Remnant gives me a generic JRPG flavor. Is it any good?

I didn't like it at all because you don't directly control your party. You just tell them what type of moves to do and the AI chooses the exact spell or whatnot. Very annoying. It also is very heavy on the sidequest filler.

Jumped back on FF7. Just spent the last couple hours grinding away. Everyone has all their limit breaks up through Yuffie.
Surprisingly it doesnt take that long if you only use one person and give them Hyper.

Forgot how much I like combining things.

Deathblow linked to Steal As Well, put them on Vincent with a Sniper CR.
Good times.

Yeah, the materia system in 7 was one of the cooler things to me. Obviously, the story was a tremendous achievement at the time and I still use Aerith's Theme as my wife's ringtone. :p

Oh yeah, and Vincent stayed in my party once I got him, too. hehe
