Umm, we're making fun about Bush falling off a Segway because this is a thread about how a few people fell off Segways, so they're recalling them. Believe me, if this thread was about dangerous pretzels, we'd have something else to make fun of Bush.
lol, so you assume that I am a republican because I think your jokes are lame? But then again, you consider this humor, thats a problem within itself.
*sigh* Like I said, its pretty sad that you guys have nothing else to complain about. From a political stand-point, even bringing this up as a method of 'making fun of Bush'... it sort of shows he's done quite well in his term.
I think he has a point though. I mean you talk like he drove off with the gas pump hanging out of his car or something. Im sure only idiots fall off of anything right.

Just for the sake of clarifying something, I was not the one who brought up Bush in this thread. It was obviously someone else since I see no point or humor in bringing it up in the first place. On a side note, i can freely say that I don't agree with EVERYTHING Bush has done, but I do find it a lack of self-confidence and stupidity on the peoples part when they use these types of things OVER AND OVER AGAIN as if it was the stupidest thing ever done. Particularly when we know for a fact that 'falling' is not an uncommon occurance.

Umm first thing Travis if we had "something to complain about from a political standpoint" we'd be posting in Politics and News not OT. They're not complaining they're just making fun of Bush for being a doof falling off a Segway. Kinda the same way Leno makes jokes about the President. You gotta admit as far as presidents go Bush is pretty doofy. He's the doofiest one I can remember. Chokes on pretzels, falls off Segways, mis-speaks quite a bit(I think they have a quote a day calendar now).
I agree, i'm not trying to throw this into a political discussion. However, I feel its necessary to point out that its pretty stupid to make fun of the President because he fell, or choked, or said something stupid.
We all know Clinton has stuck his foot in his mouth several times as well, and i'm sure other past presidents have to. Of course, they had other things to make fun of him instead.
I see, we can make fun of other presidents who do stupid things but not your Bush. Okay got it.
Now, have you ever fallen off a Segway before? Me neither.
Since it appears to subject every segway to being recalled, this seems to call into question amazon.com's claim that it was the top selling item on their site several days. 6,000 total so far?
I never said that, please do not put words into my mouth. I thought it was stupid that they made fun of Clinton day in and day out (and occasionally still do). Although lying to the whole country is a considerable difference compared to falling off a segway.
Have you rode on one? I have... did not fall off but its not impossible. Most likely most of hte ones here who are making fun of him have never seen one in real life. Have you over tripped over nothing other than dragging your foot on the carpet by accident? Thats more amusing than this.
I'm not goign to get into the political side of this. Aside from taking extreme measures to make sure people who make fun of him for stupid stuff are safe, thats enough for me.
