how would I know what timings and all of that to put? The DOCP menu only has default or off (2133) and its rated profile (2933)First, try each speed up from 2133, like 2400, then 2666, then 2933. Go back down one when it crashes.

I don't know your bios, did you read what usandthem said ? Once you get there, use 1.35 volts, and the ram ratings. Can you link to the memory ? I will have to look back and see if you linked already.how would I know what timings and all of that to put? The DOCP menu only has default or off (2133) and its rated profile (2933)
Here is the Amazon link to my memory or if you just need to number it is CMK8GX4M2B3000C15. Here is the newegg link which shows the specs: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod...m_re=CMK8GX4M2B3000C15-_-20-233-828-_-ProductHere is the Amazon link to my memory or if you just need to number it is CMK8GX4M2B3000C15. I will get to my bios and get you screenshots right now
So would I do it like this? Set the docp profile and then manually go through each frequency (for example i loaded the profile then set the frequency to 2666). The profile shows 15-17-17-35.Here is the newegg link which shows the specs: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod...m_re=CMK8GX4M2B3000C15-_-20-233-828-_-Product
So yes, its 1.35v 15-15-15-35 settings at each speed.
Ok I will get back to you with the resultsYes, but make sure the voltage for the dram is 1.35.
So I applied the docp profile which sets the voltage to 1.35 and the timings to 15-17-17-35 and manually set the frequency to 2666. It seems to be stable for the few hours that I’ve played. Any advice on what I could do to reach 2933? Perhaps increase voltage to 1.375? I know 1.4 is max for ryzenYes, but make sure the voltage for the dram is 1.35.
Not vcore, DRAM voltage. vcore is for the CPU voltage. DRAM is another setting. If you are not overclocking, set the vcore to default. Quite often the dram will default to 1.2v, and thats not enough for 2933. 1.35 should be fine for 2933.So I applied the docp profile which sets the voltage to 1.35 and the timings to 15-17-17-35 and manually set the frequency to 2666. 1.35 @2933 is the original docp profile which was giving me issues which is why I’m wondering if I should bump the dram voltage up a little bit.Not vcore, DRAM voltage. vcore is for the CPU voltage. You should not need to. play a while at 2666 and let us know how it works@1.35. If its fine for longer than ever before, then try 2933.1.35 @2933 is the original docp profile which was giving me issues which is why I’m wondering if I should bump the dram voltage up a little bit.
Will do. So far it has been longer than previous runsYou should not need to. play a while at 2666 and let us know how it works@1.35. If its fine for longer than ever before, then try 2933.
Yeah if push comes to shove I’ll be content with 2666. Much better than 2133 at leastOh, and based on this, if it does not do 2933, it could be that the motherboard is not 6 layer PCB (or something like that).
But glad to hear its doing 2666. Most will do that.
Though im not sure why 2933 ram would be on the qvl list if the motherboard wasn’t compatible :/Oh, and based on this, if it does not do 2933, it could be that the motherboard is not 6 layer PCB (or something like that).
