Thanks for the info Flynnsk. Unfortunately we still don't know the frequency. Although it'll probably be 60Hz. And we don't know the color depth. Although on an IPS screen, it's probably 8-bit.

Are there any 6-bit + FRC IPS-panels ? Or is FRC a technology that is only used with TN-panels ?

I also noticed that Wikipedia is now having their own list of FreeSync monitors. The need for our list might be gone soon.

The G-Sync page has a list too.

That wikipedia list is not being updated nearly as often as you guys are doing here. Maybe we can contribute to the wiki list though eventually.

Dell is finally releasing a 144Hz monitor...good. They have been pretty fast picking up the newer resolutions but it took them long enough to hook up to the high refresh rate band wagon.

That one actually looks awesome, pitty its a TN, but hopefully its a good TN. 🙂 Thanks for the update!

where did you get the info it would be a TN, or are you going by the quoted 1ms response time? $800 for a TN is kind of insane.

Looks like we are going to get quite a variety of VRR frequencies from Freesync. I suppose it allows for cheaper options?

Changed the XR341CKA refresh-rate to 100Hz. I knew, but forgot.

There's a little more news on the Acer Predator Z35. That's the monitor I am waiting for. Acer claims it can be overclocked to 200Hz ! Just for laughs, I changed the overview in the first post to reflect that. 🙂 I probably will change it back soon.

More news about the Z35. It does support ULMB. Nice. I wonder if they could do 100Hz input, with ULMB strobing, and having a black frame between each regular frame. (Like the Eizo FG2421). The monitor would be really running at 200Hz output. Which we now know is doable.

Bad news: it will be for sale in December. (Both in EU and NA). Expected price is $1200 in the US and 1100 euro in Europe.

It seems really hit or miss which AOC models come to the US. Some of those new ones coming out look fantastic price and refresh range wise

I know at least that the AOC G2460PF and AOC G2770PF (see above quote) are coming to the US and will be "available at all major US retailers in October".

That is the reply I got from AOC when I emailed their sales dept. and asked.
I didn't ask about the other models though.
