alky is posting btw so not banned.

Thanks for keeping up. I was on vacation due to my own diamond ring fs/t thread which I am ok with the moderators decision on that.

I really didn't have time to post here until today anyway. Most nights I have been going out or doing something with my divorce paperwork/finances.

One of the better outcomes is even though my wife's car is $4k underwater now, mine has $7k of equity and I can cash out the warranty for $4000.

Worst case of this is I drive a 2012 Mazda 3 GT for a year, the next better one is I can buy a BRZ and be looking at a $305/month car payment and about $280 in gas a month vs $723 and $450 in gas 🙂

I doubt I will have to sell my car though. I did find out she racked up a bit of debt that I am inheriting.

When she leaves I basically lose $300 to me, her making a $300-600 payment to a credit card (currently at $2900, should have been paid off already) and buying food. I already was paying for cleaners/laundry stuff/extras.

Anyway...beer and financial planning night. Was supposed to go to a birthday party, but they moved it to Miami at the last minute. That's 60miles away. 🙁

Let me get this straight... The guy who constantly calls out people for being too poor:

- is too broke to pay the 4k his wife's car is under water.

- is likely going to sell off his "alpha" defining M3

- is in foreclosure on his house

Yep Alky, you are quite the financial success! We should have all been listening to you intently for whatever nuggets of financial genius you bestowed upon us.

We are all too poor and unworthy to post in the same space as you!

hmm, it's not that I am too broke to pay for a $4k underwater car. It's that it doesn't make sense to sell it now when that's about 10 months of payments.

I am divorcing and don't know what that is going to bring fully especially that I am fighting the mortgage company in court. I should be ok. Most say what I have budgeted is way overkill. I am figuring $1100 for food and incidentals for example.

You are pretty damn lippy now that you don't live 30mins from me bro.
