i watched the first few episodes of the first season, and finished all seasons before this one in a month. it just gets more and more ridiculous. I dont care about it, but just watch it once in a while, when i have ABSOLUTELY nothing to watch.
its really stupid since season 3.

i dunno.... I dont think anyone cares anymore abt her. It was just the charm of seeing a hot girl kicking ass, but they need to have a good premise and story to keep people's interest.

Just like you cant keep jerking off to the same porno movie everytime

stopped caring before last season. it was just something i would play in the background while playing a video game or something.. now i've completely stopped. they stretched rambaldi too thin, and now its been reset so much its pointless.

i think they should have finished the rimbaldi thing and either ended the show or moved it in a completely different direction.

I never watched it either. The 'hot girl kicking ass' theme is getting overdone in Hollywood nowadays.

I stopped watching it live, since they moved it into the same timeslot as Smallville :| Now I catch each episode a few days later from a co-worker who burns them on DVD :)

It sure looks like they might be setting it up so they can get Garner off the show. I bet they'll look at ratings this season and see if they're any better, and if they are, Garner will get a minor/guest appearance role and the show will be the new girl/guy as the new Sydney/Vaughn.

Does ABC even promote this show anymore? I haven't seen a single promo for the show except before the new season started.

It still manages to hold my interest, but not as much as the first two seasons. I don't really expect it to last another season.

Well, here's the guy to blame.

It was awesome in the first season when everyone was a double agent and no one knew which end was up. Then they decided to scrap that whole thing because audiences were too stupid to stay on top.

If people STILL think it's too complicated, then there simply was NEVER any hope for Alias.

My wife and I have been watching Season 1 from the beginning on TNT - in HD - and it's amazing to see how GREAT the series was back then. It had a real sense of fun, style, and genuine emotion. Jennifer Garner and Victor Garber were extremely fascinating to watch and were showing off some amazing acting skills. Michael Giacchino's music scores were heart pumping and accompanied by some amazing usage of popular songs.

Now, the fun has been replaced by scowls, the style is run thin due to Garner's pregnancy, and the genuine emotion has been gone ever since Bradley Cooper's character left the show. Giacchino is being streched too thin between this, Lost, and his now fledging film scoring career. Even Marshall isn't as funny as he was before.

I'll keep on watching, but I hope they tie everything up soon, because Alias is running out of gas.

I record it every time it's on (working on getting a complete set). Haven't watched the last couple new ones because I've been busy. Jsut waiting to see how they bring Vaughn back in.

I used to love the show, but I stopped watching this season. Maybe I'll give it a shot when I have some spare time.

I agree with this. As someone mentioned before, it was fun when Bradley Cooper and friends were unaware of Syd's extra-curricular activities... things were still kept interesting but now everyone is a spy and it's just too linear. They tried to go back to "its roots" the last season or two but it just doesn't work without interesting new players who effect their lives in other ways. They also lost me after like 3 years of Rimbaldi talk and now you never hear of it. They did make Sloane evil (and free) again so more betrayals are coming.

As for Jennifer Garner, I heard she was signed on until 2007. They are obviously working in the new agent Rachel (nice story here) and who knows what mommy Garner will do after childbirth. They needed a new agent (and got two) on this show anyway.

Thought I replied to this thread but I guess not. Yeah, I watch. I started last season and still like it this season. The new characters are nice, though Vaughn was the best. A shame he's "dead" (for now).
