Alcohol survey(s)

ATOT strikes me as having rampant teetotalism as compared to the population that I encounter in my day-to-day life. Just trying to put some numbers to this observation...

i had a beer before dinner at my sister-in-law's house on saturday.

sometimes i have a glass of red with co-workers after work. i think the last time was last thursday.

I love a good beer. But i am a lightwaight. i can't have to much asi get drunk fast.

i usually have 1 maybe 2 a night about 2-3 times a week.

I almost always have *something* daily. Whether that's a beer or glass of wine, or a mixed drink later in the evening.

But I can't remember the last time I had more than 4 drinks in a row or even considered myself moderately intoxicated.

I used to be a weekend or nice meal out drinking kinda guy, but now I'm going out a lot more now so drinking is a 2-3 times a week deal. Not getting sloppy though.

I usually have a few beers once or twice a week. How much I drink the first time usually indicates if I drink the second. In other words, if I get trashed Friday night, I don't drink Sat. But I rarely drink during the week.

No, it's just that on the internet, the people with the strongest opinions are the loudest, and so it seems much more extreme than real life.

I used to drink to get drunk, but I quit doing that years ago. The most I drink now is 2 beers, or maybe 3-4 if I have friends that are over.

I learned that there really isn't any point to getting drunk all the time.

Never, but i like answering questions that don't apply to me.


Problem is that "never" is a valid answer to that question which does apply to people. Do I drink? Yes. How often do I get drunk? Never. Yes, it does apply.
