Maybe it's better to ask which artist actually releases albums with more than 3 good songs on it. That automatically disqualifies Britney S., Michael J., George M. and all the boybands.

That was her third album which is why I always found it odd that she won best new artist with it.

If you simply stick with 3 #1 singles on Billboard's Hot 100, there are probably only a few. The Beatles probably did it on more than one album. Off the top of my head, I can recall that Michael Jackson(Bad, not Thriller), Janet Jackson(Rhythm Nation 1814), Mariah Carey(Fantasy), and Alanis Morissette also accomplished this feat.

Edit I asked an expert who said that many of Alanis Morissette's songs were not released as singles, so they did not hit #1 on Billboard. However, he also mentioned Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack, Bee Gee's "Spirit Having Flown", and an Milli Vanilli album .

Okay alanis morisette's debut was around 91 or so and she only had like 1 or 2 decent songs back then. In 95-96 her new "style" album, Jagged Little Pill is like the album with the most songs on it played all the time on the radio I can remember(I was born in 85 though......)

Ah, the glory of Milli Vanilli, All or Nothing...how could you all forget!

The duo's 1988 debut, released a year before they topped thetopped the U.S. charts. Contains 13 tracks, including four of their top five smashes: the #1's 'Baby Don't Forget My Number' & 'Girl I'm Gonna Miss You', the #2 'Girl You Know It's True' and the #4 'All Or Nothing'
