Is this ok for his report?

Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879 in Germany. One of the things he discovered is the "Photoelectric Effect" which today is most commonly used in Digital Picture/Video Cameras, and Solar panels to harness the power of the sun. Also without his "Quantum Theory" Computers, travel and communication as we know it would not exist. He is most remembered for his formula E=MC^2 which led to the development of the atomic bomb,
and his "Theory of Relativity". He also won a "Nobel Prize" for his work and was once offered the presidency of Isreal. Albert Einstein died on April 18, 1955.

Add something about revolutionizing our understanding of space and time. Of course, most people still don't understand that an object's time is slower in relation to other stationary objects, while it is in motion. An object's length is also shortened in the direction of it's motion. This is still completely mind boggling to most people, including me. The only reason we don't notice these effect is because of our extremely slow speed of life in relation to light.

He wrote a letter to the U.S. Goverment to start a nuclear program. He was a jew from Germany and he helped devoloped a bomb.

1. Relativity

2. Quantified Browian Motion: suppling proof for the existence of atoms

3. Light as photons, discreet packets of light.

I need to know what he did then?

and

What he did to affect us today?

Sorry to ask but I googled and I'm a idiot when I try to understand what the hell he did?

your son is in an assload of trouble if he's relying on you to help with schoolwork if you don't have any clue as to what Albert Einstein did

Remember this is for 7 year olds I can't explain anything too in depth or it will go over their heads. (Like it went over mine 😱 )

And as long as I can use the internet so I can ask smart people like alot of the people on ATOT he will do just fine.

You guys seem to be missing an important point (at least to me)... This is a Social Studies Project!

The teacher probably knows that any kids parent can get on google and create a list of A.E.s scientific accomplishments, but
that doesn't say anything about the mans life, or the social relevance of what he accomplished.

Are you writing this for your son, or is he writing it for himself? So far you've provided what every other 7 year old in the
class is going to come up with. I would suggest adding another short paragraph, and flesh it out by asking your son
what he thinks of these little factoids*:

Einstein was very interested in math and science, but failed math at one point because he was too bored to do his homework.

After he graduated from college, he took jobs as a high school teacher and at the patent office while he was working on
his big dream of publishing theories of Physics.

He believed there was more to the universe than what science at the time had taught him.

Einstein emigrated from Germany, and became a U.S. Citizen in 1940.

His father tried to help him get a job at a University, so he could continue work on his theories.

* I apologize for using the word "factoid".

Very Nice thank you I will definately add those. As for who is writing this report, the whole idea at his grade level is to have major parent involvment to help him write the report to show him how to seek the information.

Make sure you put in the thing he actually won a Nobel Prize for: The Photoelectric Effect. Gist: Light can interact with matter, more specific to this case, electrons, and can knock them free of the atoms to which they are bound. The main every day applications of this are CCDs and solar panels.

so Einstein is the father of the digicam
