Lying to the FBI is *always* a crime, regardless of the questions or the reasons they're asked. It's just that simple. Martha Stewart, Scooter Libby and many others have done time for that reason alone.
It's a fool's move. I learned that a long time ago. If the authorities are asking questions you don't want to answer, don't. It's your right. If they persist, ask if you're under arrest, offer to go peaceably if you are. If not, declare the conversation to be over, and leave. Never lie- it's a situation where acting stupid really is a crime...
This guy blew it- not surprising considering he was a whackjob in the first place.
Oh, yeh- "Conspiracy" to do a lot of things is also criminal, if difficult to prove with people who keep their mouths shut...
Maybe I just need to paste it into my address bar.
You confuse me now Nick, are you demonizing a bat shit crazy Islamic extremist or are you demonizing a bat shit crazy Israeli doing the same thing? Your picture could be either!
We can all find an infinite number of links to prove the other side is bat shit crazy and a pile of inhuman monsters, but your way will never find any needed balance or human sanity so desperately needed. Proving one side has some bat shit crazies does nothing to prove the other side does not have as many or more bat shit crazies.
Earth to Nick, should not we all be looking for some common ground on both sides sanity instead?
link fail and thread fail.

I am not surprised at all that you are confused Nick either, your mind is rather limited. And maybe doomed to perpetual disappointment, as the world will always advance beyond you.
Best link ever.
Having an agitated and aggressive person holding a gun in public isn't a huge deal (in terms of a "real" crime committed). Pointing it at someone isn't either. Shooting someone in the head with it is.
At what point do you stop the person?
I know batshit crazy people from all walks of life. But only one of those walks of life tries to pass it off as "normal". Sorry, I don't think women are lesser, and I do not feel the urge to "be at war" with those that are not of my faith. A person cannot advocate freedom and be pro-muslim.
That's pretty twisted in and of itself. Claiming that the most extreme represent the whole is to succumb to propaganda.
I don't think women are "lesser", either, but I can find support for the idea in the old testament and in the practices of modern Mormon polygamists... Doesn't mean that the vast majority of Christians support it, either...
If the article I linked is correct, looks like good intel work. Do we really need to wait until AFTER the killings happen to do anything?

As for me, I don't defend the ox of radical Islam, I merely point out if we can gore one ox, we can gore any other ox.
Your Israeli stance is quite similar to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who you recently held up as a moderate. That constitutes a theme worth noting, and so we have.
As to the precedence we set by going after Islam's crazies. While it may be both politically and legally improper to specifically target them, perhaps we should. It might very well be time to call out and legally establish an inequality between Americans and Americans who hold loyalties to a foreign ideology of hatred that has shown a pattern of violence against us.
It would do us well to officially target it, thereby removing unintended consequences to anyone else. You are correct that so long as we do not specify our focus, then anyone may be caught up in it.
I'm sure you disagree and figure Oxes may still be crossed. I imagine we can agree that without specification, our Oxes have already crossed and we have a problem. Is your solution to present no one with this problem, not even Islam?
While you wonder the price well pay for this police action, I wonder the price of an unchecked and bloody radicalism that originates from a foreign land and loyal to a foreign cause.

I am not pro Muslim but point out one can't be pro Israeli and advocate freedom either.
After all, does America advocate separation of church and State that Israel does not. Does America only bestow citizenship to only favored religions which Israel does not.
Does America still advocate a separate but totally unequal educational systems which Israel still retains?
Does America hold 30% of its native born population in bondage as third class citizens simply by hereditary birth?
Well America used to believe in slavery but ended that practice by 1865, why do we say its freedom when Israel still retains that same practice?
I think we deserve a peek at the hit list.
If I dont see the list, I tend to not believe the allegations. I dont think we should believe in hearsay third party gossip! Why should you or anyong believe anything the federal government says?

Cliffs: Don't talk to the cops.
