what videocards do not support 1680x1050

FYI: did instore pickup..returned nad even though monitors were not on the 10/12% off she gave me 10% off...$170+ $12 tx= $182
 
Stopped by one of the Chicago stores & picked up one of these - two still left in the store.

Tried getting them to honor the 10% or 12% off, but no go - clerk tried the coupon but said monitors were excluded, wouldn't try to override.

I *did* use some of my Reward Zone credits/coupons - for those who are members, when you use these it lowers the sale price such that you pay less tax. (i.e. you only pay tax on the part of the price less the earned coupons.) With 9% sales tax in Chicago, every little bit helps.

This will go with my (soon to be built) Dual Core E6600 machine, just have to find the right video card & will be all set ...
 
There are still a couple of them at the Salem, New Hampshire Best Buy.I grabbed one just as they were closing and there were still 2 left after I bought mine.

If this were black Friday I bet that everything worth getting would be gone within the hour. But I give credit to bestbuy for giving us these special deals without silly mail in rebates.

Well, I tried to do in store pick up earlier today but it said that it was unavailable at all of the stores around me. I checked again just a few minutes ago and it said that it was available at a store near me now, so I did in store pick up and I'll go get it in the morning. I hope they really do have it in stock.
 
Picked mine up on Friday (paid full price), then took it back on Sunday to get the sale price. Such an awesome deal!! Hooked up to my MBP at the moment and I must say I am impressed.

some of the older intel integrated graphics. Most of the SiS and Via chipsets do not.

BTW, when I was at BB Iread there return policy...I saw no restocking fees on monitors
 
just picked mine up this morning, they had 1 on display, 3 in stock. Nice looking display, going to run thru some games on it now.

No restocking fee on monitors for BB if you decide you dont like it.
 
As much as BB normally sucks, getting this for $190 out the door along with some of their other no MIR deals unfortunately makes them just about the best nationwide chain.
 
I just picked mine up, no dead pixels YAY! I love this thing, I can't believe I've had a CRT for this long.
 
Wait 'til you hear this "Wurst Buy" story!

I bought for in-store pickup and when I got there was told that they, "Couldn't find it!"
I had the receipt and confirmation for the unit and accused them of selling the unit I bought out from under me.
They assured me that they never even carried the unit, however, when I asked for a store manager I noticed a guy carry the unit they had on display into the back room.
A short time later they miraculously "found" my unit and proceeded to haul the box out of the same back room that the display had gone into.
It was sealed with "Inspected by Best Buy" tape and I accused them of trying to sell me a display for new.
Things got ugly after that. :thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

can anyone get this to tilt?

according to the specs it does

the manual says to just yank on it

but no matter what, it doesn't want to tilt

i'm afraid to pull harder because it seems like i'm going to break it

do i just need to pull harder anyways?
 
Ya, they are pretty difficult to tilt at first. I found it easiest to move by holding the base with one hand, and the other pulling the bottom of the monitor forward... After that is loosened up a lil bit...
