I figured out a way to trick it. I did Jimmy Monroe and it guessed John Maclane. Not surprised.

Got Jon Stewart and Mark Hamill. Initially failed to get Steven Chu (guessed James Watson) but correctly guessed after a few more questions.

EDIT: Took 3 guesses and >30 questions to get Hilary Hahn. Also took a long time for Antonio Stradivari.

Failed on Schrodinger after 40 questions. It keeps guessing other famous scientists like Einstein.

So far its correctly guessed:

Jon Irenicus (Baldur's Gate 2)
Moby Dick
Marcus Fenix
Goldfish (the snack crackers)
Gaston (although that one is easy)

Had a really rough time with Euler though.

guessed Seinfeld, easy.

Then guessed: Leoplod Bloom?

wtf?

:( Akinator owns me.

Holy Fuck!
while I know this is popular as hell, the line of questioning leads me to think that there was no way it would get this one after 20, but....
Peggy Olsen (Mad Men) :(

I stumped him with:
Lāčplēsis (the bear slayer)

a legendary Latvian folk hero. Though, he did have it in his database. :hmm: Perhaps my hovering Latvian consultant answered some questions improperly?

Took 30 questions to get Cauchy (mathematician); 47 others have used him.

holy shit, it got Donald Knuth in 20 questions.

beat it with Walter Rudin. It started asking questions that were knowable given its previous questions, lol.

I love how it confuses itself.

Is your character real? YES
Is your character in the game gears of war?

ummmmmm.... Didn't saying he was real answer that?

:) I've had it ask a couple of times.
"Is the person real"
"Does the person exist"
"Is the person real"

All on the same person... Apparently it didn't trust me :D

I too found this a ways back. It did not have Heron of Alexandria in its data base, but it does now. It took 4 straight play-throughs of first adding it, then check marking it, but it got it by the end of the 5th. Even though it took more than the first 20 guesses.

OK 6th time, and it still guesses Archimedes or Euclid on the first 20, but he gets it now by 40. Because he was Greek, but lived in Egypt, and was linked with science, math, and inventing, it just keeps picking a more well known person.
