it's possible if you have a huge swap file.....though i think i really have a use for swap files anymore....not since windows 3.11 and i had 8mb of ram.....
You should have just quit AIM and started it again. I have my aim take 11MB sometimes, and I think that is unacceptable, so I just reboot aim, not the whole computer.
mine uses 1.5 Mb im runnin AIM+ and before i installed that i killed the adds manually and i dont run the ticker or anything guessin that contributes to it
