Just the presence of my ferret is enough to keep them out of the house. At one point, neighbors on all sides were heavily infested with mice. We didn't have a single siting in our house.

Seagull wine *barf* is probably the worst one. At least the other ones just add a dead animal to normal alcohol, instead of fermenting the animal itself.
