Ok, let's try this image again, this time using a version that's not a holy hell of jpeg artifacts like the 122KB version was.
I also dimmed the eye reflections a little from their previous Clorox White to match the surrounding light conditions, and reduced the size of Fluttershy's some.
E2: Or I could, you know, go to the artist's deviantART page listed right in the watermark to pull up the png, and find out that he made the same alterations that I did...
(I copied my changes to Fluttershy over, though. I liked it a little better.)

I havn't read an american book/comic in so long it feels very backwards. I still think there needs to be a manga version of the show. I know a lot of japanese people that would read it.
 
ugh I need to catch up on the second seasons. I just have been so disenchanted with the first 5 episodes that I have lots my enthusiasm for the second seasons.

Going to watch episode 6 tonight.

Yeah, I only got up to 4. As long as I don't watch the rest I can keep up the hope that they work their way back to the same style as season 1. I'm really hoping that when I finally do marathon them it's not a heart-crushing disappointment.

Those first episodes having lost the magic of season 1 really puts into perspective just how special it was. Solidly good just doesn't come along every day -- even if you have the same voice actors and the same animators, if you don't have the vision for the characters it just doesn't come together.
 
With the latest episode I'm starting to agree with you guys that they aren't doing Fluttershy's character justice. They're definitely exaggerating the personalities of most of them, but for the most part I still enjoy the episodes a lot. Every once and a while a short 10 second clip of a previous episode I once disregarded will catch my eye and I'll think "Hmmm, that does seem smarter than what I've been seeing lately." Then I'll realize because Twilight Sparkle is no longer the focus.
 
For the love of God and all that is good I hope that the people posting pics in this thread are young girls. I really do.
