After a lot of searching I found a re-upload of the video. (Finally found it after seeing that google's cache of the original video URL caught a part of the song title, and a youtube search of that + "Discord" brought the new one up)

What's the matter? They created another world and another world-line, cribbing elements from canon for an epic retelling.
It's very well done. The opening scene gives you an emotional focus that is narrower and more serious than the series world, which tells you to rip out your preconceptions. After that you're just pulling from the series as needed as you follow the flow.

I don't have an issue with that. What they did was over the top -- making available episodes for download, and on top of that, asking for donations.
Hasbro's been cool allowing Youtube uploads and sites like Equestria Daily to plaster ponies everywhere, so they're still :thumbsup: in my book.
