No in fact I was born that way. It is written into my DNA so that my species will survive. Maybe your right they are born that way and thats natures little way of saying you should not reproduce.

I think a lot of you are crazy.
Though AIDS may be back on an incline among YOUNG homosexuals and those performing homosexual practices, it is because there are a lot of young people that have started to not care about AIDS for some reason.
Most of the gays I know are HIV- and only practice safe sex. However, nearly all of the gays I know are 20 or over, and are much more mature and responsible than teenagers (here and I'm 19, and practice safe sex; many would confuse me for a 30 year old with things that I say and do in real life :-/). I don't really even want to get into discussion about all of the tradition gay fight stuff, such as whether some were born with it, etc. I have had no doubt in my entire life that I'm gay, and have tried to change. No idea how I can change. I've made a thread about it here before. I was not successful in changing. Period. As for laws against homosexuality, I would likely seriously entertain the thought of suicide if it were illegal for me to be gay or perform gay practices.
Indeed it is stupid that people would stereotype an entire school, entity, or geographical area because of the majority or minority there, such as some people in this thread are doing. It's also stupid to stereotype gays; there is no "gay" as many people believe there is. While I'm out to all of my coworkers, I also work with hundreds of people that have absolutely no idea that I am gay. One gay man that happens to work with me occasionally didn't know that I was gay until he found my profile and picture on a website. Point? Stop stereotyping.
As for hate crimes and gay assaults: I believe that gays should do all that they can to protect themselves, be it joining gun clubs, getting CCW permits, talking in an open forum with other people, whatever it is that will solve problems at the second. I personally believe that owning a gun would be beneficial to many gays because there are those precious few minutes between when you might call the police and when they would arrive - and a lot could happen in that time.

Feel free to conduct your own survey of all of the homosexuals in your area. I guarantee that the majority will say that they did not chose their orientation. Furthermore, it would not surprise me if a good percentage of those people would say that they would become straight if they could.
I've talked to a lot of gay people. And not one that I have talked to has said anything contrary to what I just said.

Hey Geek Drew, i respect ya brotha for being open. Not all of us think like this. I know its hard, damn hard, I won't even try to think how hard it is. But we respect you, there are millions of us that respect you, and care about your community. don't let the bastards get you down, because there are always bastards. bastards that hate you because of your religion. bastards that hate you because of your ethnicity, bastards that hate you because of your nationality, bastards that hate you because of your skin color, bastards that hate you because of your class, bastards that hate you becuz... they hate. the laws [against homosexuals and sodomy, etc.] are absolutely retarded. and laws are made by people like us, the masses of society. we shouldn't always think our government is right. we should be intelligent enough to question our government, our society, our religion. God gave us the ability to discern between right and wrong, and God gave us the capacity to do this in our own way, we do not need to be followers.
Hopefully, when my generation takes seats of power, and rights the laws we will make a difference. Hopefully, like the blacks have freedom today, one day, homosexuals will be there too. keep on keeping on man.
